Kingston is one of the best and most luxuries brands of computer memory. Their HyperX line is the top of the line model within a top of the line brand. If you buy this memory there will be one thing that hits you right off the bat: the weight. The sturdiness. The design and colors. It all just comes together in a way that screams: I care about computer memory enough to buy nothing but the best.

If you are on the market to buy desktop DDR3 computer RAM, you could have chosen something slightly less expensive in the Corsair Vengeance. Or you could have gotten 90% of both of those while paying 40% less in something like the Timetec Hynix. But not you. You need and deserve the highest levels of computer equipment. That 1600 Mhz might be light years ahead of the performance of a 1333 MHz. But you want to squeeze out the last bit of power from your computer at 1866 MHz.

We at DDR5 love to blue version. It goes particularly well with a motherboard that has blue and red accents. Thought if you are into other colors, Kingston offers their HyperX Fury line in 4 different versions: red, blue, white and black. While the Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 Review only lists this as our 3rd favorite, it is only because it’s generally significantly more than the Corsair Vengeance.

What we like about Kingston HyperX Fury DDR3 Memory:

  Since 2002 people have been overclocking Kingston HyperX Fury memory modules without a hitch. There are chips out there that have been running on overclock for 18 years now. When you buy a HyperX Fury, enthusiasts know they are buying something that has stood the test of time.

• Proven Compatibility

  As a luxury computer component brand each product Kingston launches is thoroughly tested for compatibility with as many systems, components and configurations as possible. This is doubly true of Kingston’s Fury DDR3 RAM.

• Lifetime Warranty with Tech Support

  If there’s one thing we love about the HyperX Fury line of DDR3 Desktop RAM it’s the lifetime warranty with tech support. Sure other brands will provide you with a lifetime warranty. But giving tech support with that? It can be invaluable. It’s common for enthusiasts to end up digging in forums to find an answer. But not with Hyper X. Their service really sets them apart.

What we don’t like about this RAM:

Nothing really. The price is a little higher than cheaper, more utilitarian brands like Timetec Hynix, but the build quality, easy of integration, heat sinks, lifetime warranty and tech support more than make up for it.

Overall

Price is the only reason we don’t list this as our #1 recommended DDR3 Desktop RAM Buying Option. But if you are looking for the best, this is for you.

Really, anyone looking for DDR3 RAM memory will see a huge boost in performance by installing the maximum amount of Kingston HyperX DDR3 RAM. It’s the cheapest and easiest way to upgrade your computer and make it run better than new.
